Udesh Sewpersad
Managing Director
Udesh is the Managing Director of Emerge Group (Pty) Ltd . By profession, he specializes in accounting, audit, managerial accounting and taxation. Having started his career serving his articles at BDO South Africa he has since gone to serve as a financial consultant, involved in development finance, venture capital and private equity. He has since been involved in the telecoms, tourism, construction, insurance, manufacturing and the retail logistics sectors. He has over 15 years high level professional experience. Udesh has strong business acumen and an intricate understanding of the business climate in South Africa as well as globally.
Shaun Govender
CEO
Shaun is the CEO of the EMERGE GROUP Pty Ltd and is responsible for overall management of the group which includes business expansion, capital and resource planning, governance and strategy. Shaun started his career in accounting and has worked in various audit firms and corporates as CFO and senior management. He then specialized in general management and has been in executive management for the last 20 years. Shaun has conceptualized and implemented innovative business development projects in agriculture, venture capital, corporate finance, IT Systems, transport and construction. Shaun has a high aptitude for out the box thinking and has a passion for next level entrepreneurship.
